many of these things school doesn’t teach directly. Though, society would probably function more effectively if we taught survival skills and emotional regulation in a new school curriculum

  3. being surrounded by people who are smarter at you is a privilege
  4. how to develop friendships with people that are smarter than you
  5. the importance of adhering to personal boundaries
  6. managing your expectations
  7. accepting your shortcomings
  8. focus on what is in your immediate control
  9. let go of what isn’t in your immediate control
  10. observe find balance between your thinking and feeling patterns

in addition to being great life skills, all of these things contributed to boosting my GPA
